Loghaven’s open call for applications runs from June 1 to July 15. Artists in the fields of visual arts, dance, theatre, writing, music composition, architecture and interdisciplinary work can apply for residencies taking place in 2024 and 2025.

Loghaven is a model retreat residence with sessions lasting two to six weeks. All resident artists receive a living allowance as well as reimbursement of travel and transportation costs. Both emerging and established artists are encouraged to submit nominations.

Residents have access to beautiful facilities, including the 860 square foot Visual Arts Studio with specialized equipment and the Performing Arts Studio with a suspended floor. In 2021, Loghaven received the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Architecture Award recognizing excellence in contemporary architecture.

Loghaven seeks to provide residents with a transformative residency experience that fully supports their creative practice. One of the principles of the program is to build relationships with artists that last beyond their stay:

This is by far the best residency I have attended or experienced. A haven for artists to contemplate, create and CURE. The time, space, moral and financial support and care that one would receive during this residency is unique and invaluable.

Raheleh Filsoofi

I had the mental and emotional space to focus solely on my project. New ideas flourished and transformed the direction of my work.
