It was a starry evening in London Serpentine Gallerieswhich hosted Tuesday, June 27 its annual meeting summer party to celebrate the Serpentine Pavilion 2023designed by the Franco-Lebanese architect Lina Ghotmeh and titled A table.

While that might seem like a bit of a stretch, the list of daring names that showed up for the occasion was certainly impressive, featuring a wide range of celebrities, from movie stars and musicians to fashion designers and models.
There were actors Natasha Lyonne, Lena Dunham, Justin Theroux, Andrew Garfield, Minnie Driver and Russell Tovey. From the fashion world, vogue editor Anna Wintour and models Pixie Geldof and Lori Harvey were on hand, along with designers David Koma and Paul Smith, accompanied by Diane Kruger and Orlando Bloom respectively sporting their creations.
Other notables included singer Ellie Goulding, novelist Zadie Smith, human rights activist Bianca Jagger and tennis player Venus Williams, who is playing in the first round of Wimbledon, which she won five times, on Monday .
The evening kicked off with a performance by the music program Aga Khan and ended with a set by DJ Benji B and a performance by Major League DJz. Other highlights include Ladurée’s limited-edition macaroons and an interactive piece by the artist Gabriel Massan with actors playing their Followers characters from his experimental video game Third Worldon view at the Serpentine North.
The evening also marked the debut of a Tomas Saracenothe new movie of Aerocene for Ruinart, part of the champagne house’s “Countdown” series of commissioned works responding to the climate emergency. The Argentinian artist is a subject of an exhibition at the museum– his first major solo exhibition in the UK – which opened earlier this month at Serpentine South.
