British artist Jake Chapman is messing around on instagram with a series of messages lambasting Prince Harry and his recent autobiography Spareabout his life in the British royal family.
The series of grisly images give a rather hard-hitting new take on the cover of the memoir making headlines, showing Harry’s face transformed, for example, under layers of paint, with gouged out eyes or an extremely elongated nose.
The garish reinterpretations of the heavily marketed book’s cover drew mixed reactions, with one commenter noting that Chapman’s Harry horror imagery is the “gift that keeps on giving”.
The editions of the series, titled Spare dick at a royal weddingare available for purchase from £1,000 to £3,000. A fair royal sum, some would say.
